Epic Games is giving away Remedy Entertainment’s action-adventure game Control as a free offer to all users. The game was first released in 2019 and has been given out several times, but this time it’s only available for 24 hours. Users can claim the game until December 26th at 11 a.m. ET, after which it will become part of their library.
Control is a third-person action-adventure game where players take on the role of Jesse Faden as she investigates a conspiracy involving the Hiss at the Federal Bureau of Control’s headquarters. The game received critical acclaim upon its release, earning Game of the Year nominations and winning Best Art Direction at The Game Awards in 2019.
The game is normally priced at $29.99, but it will revert back to that price after the promotion ends. However, Epic Games has also discounted the DLC until December 31st at 7 a.m. ET, making it 70% off, or $4.49 for the season pass, which includes two Expansion Packs.
