Europe Bound: Final Places Confirmed in Premier League

The 2023-24 Europa League and Conference League places have been confirmed for the Premier League teams. Liverpool secured champions spot, while Arsenal finished top five alongside five other teams vying for three remaining spots.

Chelsea’s victory over Nottingham Forest saw them jump to fourth place and return to the Champions League after a two-year absence. Newcastle United also qualified, despite losing at home to Everton, as Aston Villa failed to surpass them for fifth place. Tottenham Hotspur earned their spot with their UEFA Europa League final win.

Aston Villa will participate in next season’s Europa League, while Crystal Palace secured their place by winning the FA Cup final against Manchester City. Nottingham Forest will play in the Conference League after finishing seventh.

The Premier League has allocated European places to these teams: UEFA Champions League qualifiers (Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Spurs); UEFA Europa League qualifiers (Aston Villa, Crystal Palace); and UEFA Conference League qualifiers (Nottingham Forest).
