Actress Eva Longoria has pledged $50,000 to the organization This Is About Humanity to aid frontline workers and families affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
Longoria shared an emotional video message on Instagram, stating her donation will support farm workers who continue to produce food despite the dangerous conditions. She also expressed gratitude for the community’s help during this tragedy, saying “people are coming together in beautiful ways.”
The actress revealed she evacuated her home due to a warning and is now housing friends who had to evacuate from other areas. Longoria emphasized the importance of supporting frontline essential workers and families impacted by the fires.
Her pledge includes matching $50,000 with This Is About Humanity to support these efforts. The wildfires have displaced over 80,000 people and reported 16 fatalities, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
