Evo 2025, one of the biggest fighting game festivals in the world, has come to an end, but its impact will be felt for months to come. The event saw over 13,000 unique entrants compete in various games, including new reveals from top developers like Capcom, Arc System Works, and SNK.
One of the highlights was the announcement of Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection, which includes Mortal Kombat Trilogy on PlayStation. Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage will also be released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Additionally, Sega revealed new footage from its upcoming new entry in the Virtua Fighter franchise.
Other notable announcements include a HunterxHunter NenxImpact season pass, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising EX characters, and Invincible Vs. adding Omni-Man to its roster. Arc System Works also teased Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, which will enter a closed beta test in September.
Guilty Gear Strive got some exciting updates, including Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners joining the game’s playable roster and a teaser for “GGST 2.0.” Ken Masters has joined Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, while Tekken 8 revealed new characters, including Armor King and Miary Zo.
