Former Impractical Jokers star Joe Gatto’s ex-wife Bessy has seemingly removed herself from social media following allegations of sexual assault made by a TikToker, joozyb. The accusations claim that Gatto gave the woman instructions on how to get to his hotel and led her to an elevator where they met in person.
The incident allegedly occurred in September 2023, at around 2:26 a.m., after Gatto had just gotten back together with his wife. Joozyb shared a TikTok video claiming that she was assaulted by Gatto, showing evidence including an image from the hotel and a time stamp of the alleged encounter.
In response to the allegations, Gatto has spoken out, stating he used “poor judgment” and violated the trust of those he loves. However, he maintained that he would not have assaulted anyone, citing his ongoing work on himself as proof.
Gatto will be touring in the UK soon and has announced plans to take time away from the public eye to focus on his well-being. The Mirror US is seeking further comment from Gatto’s representatives on this story.
