Former editor of Vanity Fair, Graydon Carter, has spoken out about the reason behind his magazine’s ban of Harvey Weinstein from every event. According to Carter, the ban was due to Weinstein’s “rude behavior towards staff” rather than any disciplinary issues over drinking.
Carter stated that despite an initial temporary ban, it was eventually made permanent due to Weinstein’s repeated misbehaviors. The editor also shared a story about Meghan Markle, who reportedly asked Vanity Fair for a cover feature focused on her charities and philanthropy.
Additionally, Carter revealed his friendship with Princess Diana, who expressed interest in Jackie Kennedy Onassis during one dinner conversation. Carter also offered his opinion on how Princess Diana might feel about Prince Harry’s estrangement from the royal family, suggesting she would experience great sorrow for her son’s situation.
