EA has launched the Road to Battlefield 6 event in Battlefield 2042, offering exclusive rewards to players who participate. While these items can be obtained through playing the beta challenges that carry over into the full game, the unique twist is that you’ll need to play Battlefield 2042 itself to earn them. The event runs from August 18 to October 7 and includes a Road to Battlefield Battlepass with 60 tiers of free cosmetic items inspired by previous games in the series.
The exclusive BF6 items include costumes and tank camos, available at tiers 8, 19, 30, 40, and 60. These items will be unlocked through the event’s progression system and cannot be purchased or obtained as rewards once Battlefield 6 is released. Unfortunately, this means players may need to redownload Battlefield 2042, despite it being their least favorite game in the series, to take advantage of these exclusive offers.
Players can still participate in the Road to Battlefield 6 event without having to redownload the game, but may have to shop around for a good price if they’re looking to purchase Battlefield 2042 at a discounted rate.
