Jim Henson’s Labyrinth is returning to theaters from January 8-11, 2026. This fantasy classic, released in 1986, will feature a new special featurette celebrating its enduring fandom. The event is presented by Fathom Entertainment in partnership with Sony Pictures and The Jim Henson Company.
The film follows Sarah, played by Jennifer Connelly at 14, as she navigates a magical maze to rescue her baby brother from the Goblin King, played by David Bowie. Labyrinth holds a 77% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, making it a beloved cult classic.
Labyrinth is also notable as Jim Henson’s final major film before his death in 1990. The event marks its 40th anniversary and will feature a remastered 4K presentation of the film.
