Ezra Miller recently made an appearance on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet to show support for director Lynne Ramsay, who is premiering her new film “Die My Love” on Saturday. Miller was seen wearing a burgundy tux and trousers, along with long hair and a beret.
Miller has been keeping a relatively low profile since the release of “The Flash” in 2023, but his latest round of headlines have been mixed. In recent years, he faced controversy over his behavior, including an accusation of misconduct involving a 12-year-old child. Miller apologized for his actions and sought help for “complex mental health issues.”
Despite facing criticism, Miller was able to leave one of his legal troubles behind when a protective order issued against him in Massachusetts was lifted in June 2023. He expressed gratitude for the outcome on Instagram, urging the press to report accurately and hold themselves to a higher standard.
Miller has worked with Ramsay in the past, starring alongside her in “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” which played at Cannes in 2011. The actor’s latest appearance on the red carpet marks one of his first public outings since taking a step back from the spotlight.
