The fourth round of the FA Cup has been revealed, with several high-profile matches lined up. Manchester United will host Leicester City in a highly anticipated tie, while Aston Villa face Tottenham Hotspur.
United progressed through the third round after a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Arsenal, despite playing with 10 players for most of the match. Ruud van Nistelrooy, who won this competition as a player in 2004 and was interim manager at United until November, guided Leicester to a convincing 6-2 victory over QPR.
Tottenham also needed extra time in their third-round tie before beating non-League Tamworth 3-0. Aston Villa came from behind to defeat West Ham 2-1 on Friday.
Other notable matches include Championship strugglers Plymouth facing Premier League leaders Liverpool, while eight-time winners Chelsea take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium. Everton will host Bournemouth, and Exeter City have been drawn against Nottingham Forest in a tough home tie.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City face an away trip to either Leyton Orient or Derby. Championship pace-setters Leeds will face Millwall or Dagenham & Redbridge at Elland Road, while Frank Lampard’s Coventry City semi-finalists last season will play top-flight Ipswich Town.
