Fairphone 6 Launches with Modular Design and Repair-Friendly Build

The upcoming Fairphone 6 is expected to launch this month, boasting a more modular design. According to leaked details, the device will feature interchangeable accessories such as card holders, lanyards, and ring grips, similar to those seen on the CMF Phone 1 and Phone Pro 2 from Nothing.

The phone’s design will also allow owners to mix and match colors with the accessories, with options including black, white, and green. The Fairphone 6 is set to launch on June 25th and will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In line with previous models, it will be user-repairable, with replacement parts available for various components.

One notable price drop from previous models is the €549.99 ($625) price tag, which is a significant reduction from the €699 ($800) Fairphone 5. While there’s no confirmation on a US launch yet, fans of the brand may have reason to hope this time around.
