Falcon 9 Rocket Launch Schedule Set for Pacific Ocean Landing

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is set to launch on Tuesday at 9:57 a.m., with backup opportunities available until 1:14 p.m. The first-stage booster will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship in the Pacific Ocean, marking its 13th flight.

The rocket’s primary mission is to deploy 24 Starlink satellites into orbit, scheduled to occur approximately one hour after liftoff. A live webcast of the launch can be watched online at spacex.com/launches and on X @SpaceX.

For in-person viewing, locations around Lompoc Valley offer views of the launch pad, including Harris Grade Road and Vandenberg Village. Vandenberg launches near sunset or sunrise are particularly picturesque, making it possible to spot the rocket’s departure from other parts of California and Western states under clear skies.
