Fallout TV Show Heads to New Vegas with Season 2

Amazon has unveiled the first images of Fallout Season 2, ahead of its full reveal at Opening Night Live 2025. The show is set to take viewers on a journey through the city of New Vegas, which was introduced in the video game Fallout: New Vegas. The new season will explore how the world has changed since the events of the game.

According to co-showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, the setting has undergone significant changes over the past 15 years. “The world is a constant churn of tragedy, events, and horrors,” they explained. “We’re definitely implying more has occurred.”

Season 2 will follow in the footsteps of the video game developer Obsidian Entertainment, introducing new characters and storylines set in New Vegas territory. The images show Walton Goggins’ Cooper Howard in a pre-war flashback, Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul on a barren landscape, and Kyle MacLachlan’s Hank as he assumes a new position of power.

The release window for Fallout Season 2 has been confirmed for December 2025, with Prime Video also renewing the show for Season 3. Fans can expect to see more familiar sights from the video game, including the iconic Lucky 38 resort and casino.

Fallout TV Show Creator Todd Howard has previously hinted that the endpoint of the series may be around Season 6. Meanwhile, Aaron Moten, who plays Max, has expressed excitement about the future of the show.

As the Fallout TV show continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of humor, darkness, and action, fans can’t wait to see what’s in store for New Vegas in Season 2.
