Fashion Community Rallies Around Families Affected by LA Fires

The fashion community is coming together to support families affected by the recent Los Angeles fires. Stylists, designers, and celebrities are donating clothes, furniture, and other essentials to those in need. The initiative, led by Ilaria Urbinati, has already helped over 60 families, with distribution of more than 200 pairs of men’s shoes.

Ilaria Urbinati, who has clients including Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, started the effort after losing her Palisades home in the fires. She began by emptying her own closet and responding to DMs on Instagram from those in need. The project has gained momentum, with Ilaria partnering with fellow stylists like Mario Kroes and Shaye Babb.

Other notable contributors include stylist Sandra Amador, who donated fashion items including Lady Gaga’s wardrobe; and photographer Robert Trachtenberg, who visited a mall in Palm Springs to buy items for the cause.

The initiative has also raised over $100,000 through GoFundMe campaigns, supporting families with basic necessities like masks, water, fire extinguishers, grocery gift cards, and IKEA bags.
