Fast-food chains are stepping up their game by offering budget-friendly deals for the new year. Following McDonald’s overhaul of its value menu, other popular restaurants like Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and Burger King have announced their own promotions.
Wendy’s is starting a “two for $7” promotion from March 2, allowing customers to choose between four items: the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Classic Chicken Sandwich, Dave’s Single, and 10-piece Chicken Nuggets. To take advantage of this deal, customers must order through the app.
Taco Bell has launched three new Luxe Cravings Boxes with prices starting at $5 for a basic box containing a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink. The $7 Supreme Luxe Craving Box includes more items, while the $9 Discovery box offers additional menu options.
Burger King is also getting in on the action with two new Trio deals available until March 3. For $5, customers can choose two of several menu items, including sandwiches and fries, while a $7 deal gets three items.
McDonald’s has made significant changes to its value menu, keeping the $5 meal deal but adding a “buy one, add one for $1” option that includes breakfast items and other daytime options. The chain is also offering local deals and in-app specials, such as free fries on Fridays and a free McCrispy chicken sandwich for new app users.
As customers look to stretch their budgets this year, these fast-food chains are aiming to attract price-conscious shoppers with their affordable promotions.
