Capcom’s recent addition of Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui to Street Fighter 6 has been seen as an effort to reciprocate SNK’s inclusion of their characters. Now, further details on the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves game have emerged.
According to sources, Ken Masters and Chun-Li will be part of the game’s first Season Pass, with both characters set to launch in Summer 2025 and Winter 2025 respectively. This season pass is included as part of the Special Edition of the game, which features the base game alongside all DLC content for $59.99. Pre-orders also come with Terry Bogard’s classic Fatal Fury 2 outfit.
An open beta test has been scheduled from February 20th to 25th, featuring four stages across online Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, and Room Matches. The test will include characters such as Jenet, Hotaru Futaba, Kain R. Heinlein, Mai Shiranui, Preecha, Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Vox Reaper, and more.
For those interested in trying out the gameplay before purchasing, an offline tutorial will be available during the beta test.
Many fans are eagerly anticipating the game’s release, with some already looking forward to participating in the open beta test. With a focus on competitive play, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is expected to bring back memories of the classic arcade games for those who played them in their youth.
