Travis Hunter Sr., the father of Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter Jr., has received court permission to leave his home confinement in Florida to attend the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay. The courts have allowed him to travel to watch his son get selected by the Browns, who are expected to take him with the second overall pick.
Hunter Sr. will be restricted to staying at a hotel or at Lambeau Field during the draft event, and he must leave by Friday after the draft is over. This permission comes after Hunter Jr.’s Heisman Trophy win in December, when his father expressed gratitude for the honor in an acceptance speech.
