FBI Suggests Covid-19 Origin Was Lab Leak, But Were Snubbed from Briefing

The FBI has found evidence suggesting the origin of Covid-19 was a lab leak, but they were not allowed to brief President Joe Biden on their findings. Dr. Jason Bannan, a microbiology expert and former senior scientist at the FBI, spent over a year investigating the origins of the virus.

In May 2021, the US intelligence agencies launched an investigation into whether the virus was transferred from an animal or escaped from a Chinese laboratory. The National Intelligence Council concluded with “low confidence” that Covid-19 was transmitted from an animal to a human in August 2021.

The council’s findings were presented to President Biden and his aides by Avril Haines, the director of national intelligence. However, it is claimed that the FBI and Dr. Bannan were not allowed to participate in this briefing despite being the only US national intelligence agency to conclude that a lab leak was likely.
