Fed Speakers Break Silence After Blackout, Promises Insight

The Federal Reserve blackout has ended, with key speakers including Austan Goolsbee and John Williams taking to the stage. Goolsbee, president of the Chicago Fed, aligns with the dovish end of the FOMC spectrum. On Friday, he appeared on CNBC.

Williams, head of the New York Fed, will deliver a keynote speech at the 2nd Biennial Macroeconometric Caribbean Conference, organized by the Central Bank of The Bahamas and the Indiana University Center for Applied Economics and Policy Research. As president of the NY Fed, Williams holds a permanent vote on the FOMC and serves as its vice-chairman under Chairman Powell.
