A US government employee has been fired after ordering disaster relief workers to skip homes with yard signs supporting President-elect Donald Trump, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The incident has been referred to a special counsel’s office for further investigation. FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell described the action as “reprehensible” and a violation of the agency’s values and principles.
