Ferrari is set to shake up the market with its first all-electric vehicle, which will launch later this year. The Italian luxury car brand confirmed plans for the electric car’s debut in October as part of six new vehicles launching in 2025.
According to CEO Benedetto Vigna, Ferrari’s electric car will be launched “in a unique way” and will maintain the signature design and emulated sounds that have built the brand’s legacy. The EV model is expected to cost at least 500,000 euros ($535,000), but prices are not yet confirmed.
A sneak peek of the electric car was recently spotted testing out in public, with sources reporting new headlights and design features such as body panels. Although details remain scarce, Ferrari aims for 60% of sales to be EV or PHEV models by the end of next year, marking a significant shift towards sustainable mobility.
