The highly anticipated CBS series, Fire Country, is gearing up for its fourth season, but before that, there were several shocking cast changes and departures. The show’s creators have now revealed which characters are returning to the show, while others might not be.
Among those who will be back in season 4 is star Max Thieriot, who plays Bode Leone, a main character on the series. Thieriot will also serve as an executive producer and director for the new season.
Other returning cast members include Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro), Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway), and Gabriela Perez (Julianna Margulies is not mentioned in this text though but was expected to leave, instead ) is not listed however her sister Eve Edwards (Jules Latimer) will be returning.
However, the biggest departure from the original cast list was that of Stephanie Arcila’s character, who left after three seasons due to alleged budget cuts.
The show’s creator confirmed that there were discussions about ending Gabriela’s arc earlier in the season but ultimately decided against it.
Additionally, Billy Burke is stepping down from his role as Vince Leone, and Tony Phelan revealed that the writers want to create lean-in moments with more intrigue and suspense.
In another update, Leven Rambin, who plays Bode’s girlfriend Audrey James, will likely remain in the show going into the fourth season.
Overall, while some characters have left or stepped down from their roles, there are still plenty of returning faces to look forward to in Fire Country season 4.
