Approximately 300-400 workers responsible for designing and maintaining the country’s nuclear arsenal at the National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA) had their jobs terminated. The Energy Department is now seeking to bring these workers back on board, following a period of uncertainty and upheaval within the agency.
