Nintendo has made its highly-anticipated console, the Switch 2, available in some regions as a first step towards its global release on June 5. The company’s update is now live, offering an early look at the system’s operating system and eShop.
The eShop, showcased in a video provided by VGC, features various menus, including the capture gallery. This update is required for certain console functions and will be necessary for users to access all features when the Switch 2 launches worldwide.
In addition to its own exclusive titles, the Switch 2 will also support free upgrades of existing games on the original Switch, with a total of 28 launch games across various categories. Some notable titles include ports of PS/Xbox and Xbox games, as well as GameCube re-releases.
A preview of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet for the Switch 2 has been available to VGC, showcasing an improved gaming experience for fans of the popular game. With its global release approaching, users can now check out a full list of launch titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 on their console or online.
