Falcons quarterback Michael Penix, Jr., now leading the team, is joined by five of the top six rookie quarterbacks who were picked in the 2024 draft. Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Bo Nix started Week 1 for their teams, while Patriots quarterback Drake Maye made his first start in Week 6. However, with Penix’s impending debut, only one rookie – Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy – remains sidelined due to injury. Penix has already seen action in two games, completing three passes and throwing a passer rating of 83.7, which surpasses that of veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins in his final five starts of the season.
