Five people are being sought by authorities after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from a Burlington County store. The incident occurred at Dick’s Sporting Goods, where Mount Laurel police responded to a report of shoplifting on Friday around 4:45 p.m.
According to the police, the suspects made off with $10,000 worth of Nike and North Face items and caused $200 in damage to the store. Surveillance footage captured one suspect leaving the scene carrying a large handful of clothes.
