FKA Twigs has postponed her upcoming tour dates in Chicago, Toronto, and New York due to visa issues. The singer took to social media to announce the news, stating that her production team failed to complete the proper paperwork for their visas.
Twigs had planned to perform in Chicago on March 26-27, Toronto on March 30-31, and a pair of shows in New York City on April 3-4. However, due to “routing and complex touring issues,” she was unable to make the trip.
“I’m completely devastated,” Twigs said in a TikTok video. “I don’t take this lightly. I’m looking into how and why this happened.” The singer promised that rescheduled dates would be released soon and vowed to “come to you harder, stronger than ever.”
The postponement affects the North American leg of her Eusexua tour, which was launched in Paris last week. Despite the setback, Twigs expressed gratitude for the European tour and praised the album’s critical acclaim, calling it an “amazing, incredible, spiritual, enlightening whirlwind.”
