Ford’s Silver Lake Dune-Inspired Broncos Are Pure Fantasy for Now

Ford is at it again, churning out special editions inspired by its popular Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs. The latest concept cars, dubbed “Silver Lake Dune” vehicles, pay homage to the beauty of Michigan’s Lake Michigan shoreline, specifically the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. While these off-roaders are purely fictional for now, they’re built from existing parts and upgrades with special touches like unique paint schemes and graphics.

The Bronco and Brono Sport Silver Lake Dune concept cars boast warm, sunset-inspired color schemes reminiscent of a summer evening over the lake. Both vehicles feature blueish Azure Gray paint with cool, fading graphics that evoke hues of yellow, orange, pink, purple, and blue. The design is unmistakably Michigan-inspired, making them appealing to fans of the state’s scenic beauty.

While the Silver Lake Dune concept cars are not production-ready, they show off some exciting upgrades available through Ford Performance, including bull bars, Yakima roof racks, cross bars, and Rigid-brand light bars. Even smaller touches like color-matched sand boards and inflatable stand-up paddle boards complete the dune-inspired vibe.

Ford has sparked excitement among fans with these concept cars, and who knows? Maybe we’ll see a special edition or graphics kit inspired by Silver Lake Dunes in the future.
