Former En Vogue Singer Dawn Robinson Reveals Homelessness Struggle

Dawn Robinson, a former member of the iconic R&B girl group En Vogue, has shared her personal struggle with homelessness in a recent YouTube video. The 58-year-old singer revealed that she has been living in her car for the past three years.

Robinson explained that after moving out of her parents’ home in Las Vegas in 2020, she faced difficulties finding an apartment due to her former manager’s alleged manipulative tactics. Feeling trapped and vulnerable, she decided to take a leap and start living in her car. Initially, it was a spontaneous decision, but she now reflects on the experience as a journey of self-discovery.

“It’s not ‘Woe is me,'” Robinson emphasized. “I’m learning about who I am. I’m learning myself as a person, as a woman.” She shared that she misses her family and loved ones but needed to do this alone for personal growth. Unfortunately, she also lost her dog Max in the car.

Robinson reassures viewers that while having an apartment would be ideal, she’s proud of what she’s accomplished by embracing her “car life” and living freely. She urges others to be spontaneous, take risks, and face their fears.
