Former En Vogue Singer Opens Up About Struggling with Homelessness

Dawn Robinson, a founding member of the successful singing group En Vogue, has been open about her struggles with homelessness. In a recent video shared on her YouTube channel, she revealed that she has been living in her car for nearly three years.

Robinson said she faced judgment from some people who told her not to share her story due to her celebrity status. However, the singer remains undeterred and hopes to inspire others with her resilience.

She shared her journey, which began in 2020 when she lived with her parents in Las Vegas. After a month, she was forced to leave and ended up staying with a co-manager for eight months, only to find that he couldn’t accommodate her due to limited space.

Robinson then spent time in a hotel and struggled to get an apartment. However, after researching “car life,” she discovered a community of people who choose to live in their vehicles, and it became an unexpected adventure for her.

The singer emphasizes that her story is not meant to elicit sympathy but to inspire others to learn about themselves and find their own path. With her YouTube channel documenting her journey, Robinson hopes to share her experience and show that with resilience and determination, one can overcome adversity.
