A former Facebook executive, Sarah Wynn-Williams, has been temporarily barred from promoting her memoir about the company. The arbitrator’s decision came after she released “Careless People” this week, in which she made scathing comments about Mark Zuckerberg, Sheryl Sandberg, and Meta. According to Wynn-Williams’ book, Zuckerberg misled investors and regulators about cooperating with Chinese censors, while also accusing Joel Kaplan of sexual harassment. The arbitration found that Wynn-Williams likely broke a non-disparagement agreement by making these claims against her former employer. Despite the ban, Wynn-Williams’ memoir has already become a top seller on Amazon.
