Former NFL Player Arrested in Deadly Texas Motorcycle Crash

Kelvin Joseph Jr., a former Dallas Cowboys cornerback, has been charged with driving under the influence and manslaughter after being involved in a deadly motorcycle crash in Richardson, Texas. The 27-year-old motorcyclist, Cody Morris of Plano, died at the scene.

According to authorities, Joseph was involved in a collision with Morris’s motorcycle on North Central Expressway near Park Boulevard. Police said while speaking with Joseph, they found evidence suggesting he was intoxicated. Joseph, who is 25 years old and lives in Allen, Texas, was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence and manslaughter.

Joseph played for several NFL teams, including the Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, and Minnesota Vikings, before joining the DC Defenders. He has a history of controversy, having been cleared of wrongdoing in a deadly shooting case in 2022.
