Former Supermodel Dayle Haddon Dies After Carbon Monoxide Leak

Dayle Haddon, a renowned Canadian-born supermodel, actress, and humanitarian, has died after suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at her Pennsylvania home. According to police, a resident called 911 to report a 76-year-old man passed out on the first floor of a detached “in-law” suite. The unidentified man was taken to hospital, while a second victim, 76-year-old Dayle Haddon, was found dead in the same suite.

Toxicology reports are expected on Saturday to determine the cause of death. Police detected high levels of carbon monoxide at the property, and two medics were treated for exposure. The home is owned by Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, a journalist, and her husband, actor Marc Blucas.

Haddon was a prominent model in the 1970s, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 1973. Marc Blucas, her husband, is a former basketball star turned actor, known for roles in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Blue Bloods,” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
