Former University of Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano has poked fun at his departure from the program after Nico Iamaleava left due to a holdout. The transfer portal opens on April 16, and Iamaleava’s representatives sought a renegotiation of his $2 million per year contract. Guarantano, who finished his college career with 6,174 yards and 38 touchdowns, made light of the situation with a one-liner on social media: “What did I miss?” The former Vols quarterback also shared that he received death threats during his time at Tennessee. Guarantano is now playing for the San Antonio Brahmas in the UFL.
