Miller was described as a “beloved” and “outgoing” young boy who loved sports, particularly baseball, football, golf, and hunting. He had two brothers, Hunter and Miller, with parents Brett and Jessica Gardner.
The Yankees organization has offered their love and support to the Gardner family, acknowledging the immense pain of losing such a young life. The team’s statement described Miller as having “a spark in his eyes” and an “outgoing and feisty personality.”
Brett Gardner spent 14 seasons with the Yankees, including winning the World Series in 2009. He retired from baseball following the 2021 season.
