Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, also known as Fortnite Lawless, has officially begun, bringing with it a new era of chaos and excitement for players. This season marks the start of heist mode, where players will embark on thrilling missions to infiltrate new locations across the map.
New areas have been added to the eastern side of the island, including Crime City, Outlaw Oasis, and Lonewolf Lair. Fletcher Kane, a boss NPC, resides in Lonewolf Lair, offering a challenging fight for skilled players.
A fresh Battle Pass is also available, featuring original skins such as a traffic cone-wearing woman, a human-sized pickle, and Sub-Zero from the Mortal Kombat franchise. The pass can be purchased with 1,000 V-Bucks or as part of Fortnite Crew for $9.99 per month.
This season’s secret skin will unlock on March 11, while Dill Coin, a parody of cryptocurrencies, has been introduced, allowing players to earn in-game currency during matches and spend it on Black Markets.
Fortnite has also collaborated with the anime series Cowboy Bebop, releasing new skins for Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine. A set of quests will launch on March 1, offering rewards themed around the show.
New weapons and items have been added to the game, including the Plasma Burst Laser, Thermite, and Falcon Eye Sniper. These updates will be rolled out in the next couple of updates during the season.
