Fortnite Servers Down for Lawless Season Update

Fortnite’s servers will go offline tonight as the game updates for its new season, Chapter 2: Lawless. The current season will end on February 21 at 2 a.m., and Epic Games expects the update to be complete by Friday morning, around 6 a.m.

According to past updates, the downtime typically lasts about four hours. However, there have been delays in the past, with some updates taking up to eight hours to complete.

Players can check the server status on Epic Games’ website or their X account (@FortniteStatus) for the latest updates on Fortnite’s status.

The new season promises several exciting features, including a playable character named Big Dill, who is initially part of a bank heist and later becomes the target of other characters. Big Dill will be featured in the Battle Pass, making Sub-Zero, from Mortal Kombat, the first Mortal Kombat character to be added to Fortnite.

Fortnite fans can watch the trailer for Chapter 2: Lawless on YouTube to get a glimpse into the new season’s story and gameplay.
