Fortnite Unveils GTA-Inspired Map Changes in Chapter 6 Season 2

Epic Games has introduced a significant update to the Fortnite map, drawing inspiration from GTA-like city elements with several tightly-packed locations, Black Markets, and new vehicles filled with loot. Here’s an overview of the new map, its notable POIs, and returning areas.

New Points of Interest (POI):

The west coast of the island is home to four newly introduced POIs:

1. Lonewolf Lair – The lavish home of Fletcher Kane, this season’s Big Bad.
2. Shiny Shafts – Likely a location for gold veins and the Gold Rush effect.
3. Outlaw Oasis – The hub for the anti-heroic heist crew in the battle pass lineup.
4. Crime City – A cityscape POI with a vibe similar to past seasons, featuring Seaport City and Mega City from Chapter 4.

Returning Locations:

Several iconic locales have returned, including Whiffy Wharf, Flooded Frogs, Magic Mosses, Pumped Power, Demon’s Dojo, Brutal Boxcars, Foxy Floodgate, Seaport City, Shining Span, Shogun’s Solitude, Canyon Crossing, Masked Meadows, Hopeful Heights, and Kappa Kappa Factory.

New Features:

The update brings high-stakes action with Armored Transport convoys moving valuable loot. Players can hijack these convoys and even take out the armored trucks themselves. New Fortnite weapons are also required to pull off major loot hauls, making teamwork crucial for success.

This season’s Chapter 6 Season 2 promises a GTA-inspired experience with its tightly-packed city elements, Black Markets, and new vehicles filled with loot.
