The Santa Monica Pier is hosting three free events, “Holiday Cheer on the Pier,” from December 4 to 18. Enjoy family-friendly activities like letter-writing to Santa and ornament painting inside the historic Merry Go-Round building.
A variety of entertainment options are available, including musical storytime sessions with Books & Cookies, Bob Baker Marionette Theater performances, and live music. Holiday treats like hot cocoa, churros, and popcorn will be for sale.
The final event on December 18 features extended celebrations called Sandy Cane Lane, featuring photos with Santa, a holiday sand sculpture, and a car decorating contest with cash prizes. The event marks the return of Locals’ Night as the holiday season finale.
The pier is located at 200 Santa Monica Pier, Suite A, Santa Monica, CA 90401, making it easily accessible by public transportation or bike.
