Free Star Wars Games on Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can celebrate Star Wars Day by playing two classic games for free. Starting April 30th at 10 a.m. PT, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter and Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles will be available to play completely free of charge.

Subscribers will have access to the full versions of these games during the trial period, which runs through May 6th at 11:59 p.m. PT. If players can’t finish both games, their save data will transfer back to the paid version if they decide to purchase either game later.

Players who try out these trials will receive 100 Platinum Points and a chance to discover new favorite games. For those interested in buying Star Wars: Bounty Hunter or Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, there are multiple options available on the Nintendo eShop, including discounts for bundles like the Star Wars: Grand Collection.

The two games were originally released in 2000 and 2002, respectively, but have been updated with new features like a flashlight for dark locations. However, some Switch games may not be compatible with the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, which could affect plans to purchase the Star Wars: Grand Collection bundle.
