Frontier Airlines is set to launch its first-ever first-class seating in late 2025, according to a recent announcement. The premium seats will be located in the first two rows of the plane and promise “unmatched comfort and space.” This new offering builds upon the airline’s existing premium seating options, which include extra legroom and preferred seating.
Starting earlier this year, Frontier will begin granting complimentary upgrades to its Elite Gold members. These upgrades will eventually expand to first-class seating. Additionally, in mid-2025, Platinum and Diamond Elite members will receive free, unlimited companion travel. However, government taxes and fees still apply to these seats.
As part of its new initiative, Frontier will also introduce FRONTIER Miles as a rewards program. Starting in 2025, customers will be able to use these miles to purchase things like bags and seat bundles, expanding the program’s capabilities beyond just flights.
