The Financial Times (FT) is licensing its artificial intelligence (AI) technology from a start-up, aiming to bridge the gap with rivals in terms of innovative models. This move is expected to enhance the quality and accuracy of FT’s content.
The launch comes as the FT faces competition in providing AI-powered news and analysis. In response, the organization has opted for an alternative solution by licensing its AI technology from a start-up company.
The new access will be available for €69 per month and offers complete digital coverage of the FT’s journalism on any device. It also includes expert analysis from industry leaders.
Additionally, the FT is offering a one-year upfront payment option, which saves 20% compared to a monthly subscription. However, it does not include access to ft.com or the FT App.
Before subscribing, users should check if they already have access through their university or organisation.
