Fujifilm has announced the Instax Wide Evo Hybrid Instant Camera, a latest addition to its instant camera family. This hybrid camera combines the capabilities of an instant film camera with smartphone printing technology in one package.
The new camera takes it further than its predecessor, the Instax Mini Evo, by offering wide format images that print onto Instax Wide instant film. It also features advanced capabilities designed to enhance the photographic experience, such as a 16.67mm lens with two modes: standard and wider.
Users can customize their photos using 10 lens effects and 10 film effect options, which can be fine-tuned with “Degree Control.” The camera comes with five film styles, including cinematic and classic formats.
The Instax Wide Evo also features a 3.5-inch LCD monitor on the back of the camera for editing and printing photos directly from the device. It can print up to 100 photos per charge and has a microSD card slot for storing images.
Additionally, the new camera offers remote shooting and image enhancement options through the Instax Wide Evo smartphone app. The app also showcases user-uploaded images in a social media-style “Discover” feed.
Fujifilm has introduced a new Brushed Metallics Instant Film pack with metallic borders, available in 10-pack packs. The Instax Wide Evo Hybrid Camera will be priced at $349.95, while the Brushed Metallics film pack is priced at $24.99 per pack.
