UFC 313 has been updated with a new fight as Dan Hooker’s injury forces Rafael Fiziev into a bout against Justin Gaethje. The light heavyweight title challenger will face the current “BMF” titleholder, Gaethje, in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
Gaethje and Fiziev first met at UFC 286 in March 2023, resulting in a majority decision win for Gaethje. Since then, both fighters have competed in high-profile bouts. Gaethje went on to defeat Dustin Poirier but lost to Max Holloway. Fiziev has been working towards a comeback after suffering an injury that left him with a torn ACL and undergoing surgery.
With the updated card now announced, fans can look forward to several other intriguing matchups, including Champion Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev for the light heavyweight title. The event is scheduled to take place on March 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
