Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has been spotted on eBay, confirming earlier reports about its design. The device features a squircle-shaped case similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, with a rotating bezel and Sapphire Crystal cover glass. Key specs include 64GB storage, LTE connectivity, and 5ATM water resistance.
A listing of the watch reveals details such as the model number SM-L505U and its compatibility with Samsung’s Galaxy Wear app. However, since the device isn’t officially released, users won’t be able to fully set it up until the app update.
Notable features include a push-button crown with top and bottom buttons on each side, a stainless steel silver case, and a unique strap connection system. The charger also appears to be the same black puck-style wireless charger used by previous Galaxy Watch models.
The seller’s attempts to connect the watch to their phone were unsuccessful due to an incomplete app update, suggesting that users won’t be able to fully utilize the device’s features until later this year.
