Microsoft’s Game Pass service has been winning over gamers, including the author, with its latest additions. Bethesda’s Oblivion Remastered is now available on PC, consoles, and Game Pass, while French studio Sandfall Interactive’s debut title Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hits the service tomorrow.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered boasts improved graphics, new character models, and remastered special effects. The game launched at $49.99 for its base edition, which includes both original DLCs, and a deluxe edition priced at $59.99. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has received high praise from critics, with an 92 rating on Metacritic and an IGN review calling it “a true modern throwback.”
Game Pass Ultimate offers access to the full service library for $19.99/month, making it a more affordable option than buying individual games. With the recent releases of Blue Prince, South of Midnight, Avowed, and other titles, including mainstay classics like GTA V, Game Pass seems like a ridiculous good deal.
The author notes that while there aren’t any current live deals, users can purchase three-month subscriptions to save money in case prices increase. U.S. preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 go live tonight, making it an exciting time for gamers with multiple platforms.
