The latest client update for the game has caused a critical issue, leaving players unable to progress past the loading screen. The problem manifests when the game attempts to load world data, resulting in a stuck splash screen displaying between 56-58% completion and an unresponsive video feed. Although the sound remains functional, attempting to close the process requires force: task manager must be used, with neither ALT F4 nor right-clicking on the tab being effective.
Previous troubleshooting steps have been taken, including resetting and repairing the game through the Apps store, as well as a full uninstall and reinstall of the application. Despite these efforts, the issue persists despite having up-to-date graphics drivers and other system components. Rebooting in admin mode or running the game normally prior to the update also yielded no improvement.
Players are now seeking alternative solutions to resolve this frustrating problem and regain access to the game’s content.
