Gaza Conflict Intensifies, Over 80 Palestinians Killed

A surge in violence across Gaza has left over 80 Palestinians dead, according to health officials. The deaths were reported in various incidents, including Israeli strikes on a school and aid distribution sites.

The strikes, which occurred in Gaza City and Khan Younis, left many with severe burns and killed dozens of people seeking aid. The hospital director of Al-Shifa, Dr. Mohammad Abu Silmiya, described the scene as “extremely harrowing” due to the charred bodies of victims.

Israeli officials claim that they targeted key Hamas terrorist in a Gaza City command center, using precision munitions and aerial surveillance to minimize civilian casualties. However, witnesses dispute this account, with many describing the strikes as indiscriminate and deadly.

In Khan Younis, aid seekers were waiting near US-backed distribution sites when they were hit by Israeli fire, leaving 15 people dead and several more injured. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported seven more deaths in a similar incident in the Tahlia area east of Khan Younis.

The situation remains fluid, with ongoing negotiations to reach a ceasefire in the enclave. However, for many Gaza residents, life is already too intense. “Where are (Hamas)?… they are all dogs,” one eyewitness said, highlighting the dire humanitarian crisis unfolding across Gaza.
