Gaza’s Food Crisis Deepens Amid Israeli Restrictions

Israel’s restrictions on food entry into Gaza have left hundreds without access to basic sustenance. Journalist Anas Baba has lost a third of his body weight while reporting on the conflict, getting by on one small meal a day until supplies ran out several weeks ago. Despite Israel’s efforts to limit food distribution through new sites run by private American contractors, UN Secretary-General António Guterres warns that this system is “killing people.” In this episode, Baba documents his perilous journey to secure food at one of these sites, where dozens have been killed by Israeli troops as they approach.
