Google has provided a more specific timeline for Gemini’s debut on Android Auto and Google TV. The search giant announced that Gemini will be available for cars, TVs, speakers, and smart displays this Fall. This means users can expect to see the virtual assistant introduced in September, October, or November.
Gemini was initially confirmed for Android Auto around May’s Google I/O event. At the Made by Google event launching the Pixel 10 series, Rick Osterloh revealed that Gemini is already available on phones and watches, as well as earbuds. The “Fall” date is a step closer to a release date than any previous announcement.
Gemini’s debut on Google TV is also expected soon. Initially teased in early 2025, the virtual assistant was said to be released later this year. However, with the new timeline, users can now expect it around September or October.
Google showcased Gemini in several features at the event, including native audio for Pixel 10, “Gemini for Home,” and a new smart speaker that incorporates the virtual assistant. The exact release date for these features remains to be seen but will likely be announced soon.
